Pace-O-Matic Donates $125,000 to Kentucky FOP for Disaster Relief

Pace-O-Matic, which powers Burning Barrel skill games in Kentucky, today announced a $125,000 contribution to the Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police (FOP). The donation fully funds the purchase of a truck, trailer, and other equipment to be used by the FOP’s Disaster Area Response Team (DART).

“As law enforcement officers, the commitment to our communities and neighbors does not end when we take off the uniform at the end of our shift,” said Mike Sweeney, Kentucky FOP Chair of Ways & Means. “The generosity of our partners at Pace-O-Matic will enable us to quickly support our fellow Kentuckians the next time a disaster occurs.”

The Kentucky FOP DART program was created to swiftly deploy teams to areas affected by natural disasters, assisting with the delivery of essential services. The new truck, trailer and equipment will enable meal preparation for first responders assisting on the scene, assuring adequate access to food, water, and other support on site.

“Supporting the brave men and women of law enforcement as they assist other first responders in times of crisis is the best investment any company can make,” said Pace-O-Matic President and COO Paul Goldean. “We appreciate the opportunity to work alongside the FOP in providing the resources and equipment necessary for their team to react quickly in the event of any emergency or disaster.”

Pace-O-Matic is the national leader in skill-based games. With a commitment to compliance and customer service, the company is focused on supporting small businesses, and giving back to communities.

Since launching operations a year ago, both Pace-O-Matic and Burning Barrel – its Kentucky distributor – have donated to multiple charities, including volunteer fire departments, the American Legion, churches, and other non-profits to provide meals at Thanksgiving and assist with flood relief efforts last year. Supporting the Kentucky FOP’s DART initiative is the latest effort to fulfill its mission of supporting the communities in which it does business.
